Community

The annual barbecue will be held at the Limrock/Aspel Firehall Saturday May 15. Plates will be sold to support the volunteer Fire Department. The Firehall is located at the corner of HWY 35 and county road 11 in Limrock. Not sure about the price for a plate but I know it will be a reasonable one. Eat in or carry out!

Update:
Teri Wells Goins says "I think the plates are $7.00, but they will also be selling barbecue by the pound along with hamburgers and hot dogs. You have a choice of barbecue or chicken and includes beans, slaw, bread, dessert and a drink."

"The Paint Rock Valley Volunteer Fire Dept is having our Annual Dice Run on May 8, 2010. This year we are adding a Car & Bike Show. We are running this a little different this year. If you don't want to participate in the dice run you are still welcome to ride the route and enjoy the car show. We will have BBQ plates for sale at the car show.

This ride will be on some of the best motorcycle roads in Alabama.

As a member of the fire dept and committee chairman of this event, I'd like to invite all my Facebook friends to come out and enjoy the day with us.

Here is the flier. If you can post to other forums I would appreciate all the coverage we can get.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Johnny"
